Could mean that my pump needs to be replaced?

If your car has low fuel pressure it may idle fine and drive alright at low speeds, but when your engine needs more fuel, such as climbing a hill, accelerating hard, or driving at high speeds, the engine may start to miss. If your fuel pressure is really low you may even have difficulty starting the car or it may miss badly at idle and stall as soon as you try to drive at all. 

If your car has no fuel pressure you can crank the engine to try and start it and you’ll never hear a sputter or a combustion event - plus you won’t smell unburnt fuel in the exhaust when you’re trying to start it.

One thing you might be able to do if your fuel pump is on its last legs and the car won’t start due to no fuel pressure is that you can lightly tap the fuel tank with a stick or a shovel. The fuel pump on modern cars is in the tank and this may jiggle the fuel pump so it starts pumping well enough (even with low pressure) so that you can drive the car for a short period of time.
