my car revs out when in natural but when in drive or revers its like it is loosing power. keep it floored for too long and the vehicle shuts down. and at this point it wont start until half hour after. what do you think is the problem?
The car engine had died due to a wide range of problem-related to the airflow, mechanics, or fuel. A mixture of the fuel is poor. Frequently, the cause is owing to the intermittent stalling and the cold stalling. The EGR valve, alternator, or fuel pump gets faulty.
This may be related to a couple of different things such as low transmission fluid or a faulty transmission control module. When this is faulty or not working properly, this can cause a delay in gear shifting or in some cases cause the car to not shift at all.
The most common cause of this revving is either a stuck throttle or the mass airflow (MAF) sensor. This fault should be addressed as soon as possible for normal operation as this revving can become dangerous if the vehicle is allowed to accelerate unintentionally.
Erratic engine idle can be caused by various factors, but the most common and likely cause is a dirty or malfunctioning Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. This is a device found in fuel-injected cars and measures air flow so that the appropriate amount of fuel can be injected.
You end up burning more fuel and damage your gearbox assembly. At lower gear car gives more torque for a particular engine speed than higher ones. Both these practices pull you system to the extremes, which in long run ultimately damage your car engine.
